Conferences, seminars and forums

We have been working in literacy since 1980. Over this time we have learned much through innvoation, research and development work. We continue to learn. We are always keen to share our knowledge and expertise with others and, in the process, learn more ourselves. One of the best ways we do this is through thought-provoking conferences, forums and seminars for people involved in adult litearcy management and teaching, policy makers and the public.
Every year we run a:
- Policy conference (November)
- General Adult Literacy Conference (November)
- Tutors' forum (January)
- A Forum for Adult Literacy Organisers (April)
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Conference (June)
- Family Literacy Conference (May)
We also run other seminars on topics such as research and curriculum.
